I favor straightforward tools over sprawling platforms. An application should make its purpose obvious, behave predictably, and come with documentation that helps people get useful work done.

These projects are not the catalog of a software company. They grow from personal curiosity, practical needs, and the pleasure of building useful things well. That means keeping dependencies deliberate, supporting repeatable workflows, and treating deployment and maintenance as part of the work—not an afterthought.
